and me in paradise. Here’s page one of a set of four pages I did for the latest edition of Faesthetic magazine. It is Faesthetic #11, and the theme is “Ghost Story”. The mag consists of 128 pages by 40 artists in two colours. Have a look see at what it looks like see. My chunk of the mag is a little story involving a man and a jungle jaguar.

I’m working on a little project a the moment. Here is a small chunk of it. It may well turn out like a comic or something. The story involves this man/boy and a jaguar and some kind of confrontation in the jungle.
Wai Wai dangerous
December 2nd, 2008
I’ve been reading a book by Nicholas Guppy about exploring the Amazon rainforest called “Wai Wai: Through the forests North of the Amazon”. He went there mid way through the 20th century and studied the plants and trees. He spent a lot of time with various indigenous people there, including the Wai Wai. There are some great photographs in it and this is a kind of amalgamation of my favourite ones, turned in to a drawing. One is of a man eating a monkey head and the other is of a woman smiling. I will post them in the influences section of the blog soonish. I might colour this in and add some foliage…
