Working at the fruit and veg stand

“Be formless… shapeless like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle; it becomes the bottle. You put it into a teapot; it becomes the teapot. Water can flow, and it can crash. Be like water, my friend…” Bruce LeeĀ
Here’s a portrait of Bruce I did a while back. I posted it on my old blog before it disappeared, so here it is again. I enjoy this picture quite a lot because it doesn’t look very much like him.

Here’s a pencil diptych. They will both be in my book that I will get printed one day next year. They are all small here, but in real life they are A5 size. They go so well with the bloggy colour scheme that I may never post again.

Hi
The old blog passed away at some point yesterday. I don’t know why. It just went all wrong. So here is the very first post of the new blog. A small sprout is sprouting from the dead fertile remains of the dead rabbit. I’m a little disappointed that all of my old posts are now gone, but it is a fresh start. I celebrate it with a drawing of one of my favourite heroes: Bruce Lee. This will most definitely be a page in a new book I’m gradually building.
