Pink and blue drawings for you to see here on the blog

November 26th, 2008

Here’s a pencil diptych. They will both be in my book that I will get printed one day next year. They are all small here, but in real life they are A5 size. They go so well with the bloggy colour scheme that I may never post again.

On the folio

November 24th, 2008

Word up to anyone out there reading up my blog. Shouts outs to my London crew and the Leeds people. Here’s a couple of drawings that are pasted on to my portfolio. The first one is a boy with a light moustache and the second is a girl with a nice warm hat balaclava.

MILK magazine

November 21st, 2008

I finally managed to get hold of a copy of the MILK magazine in which I was featured, so here is the spread. This was back in May time, which seems like ages ago now. Many thanks to Eddie at MILK for giving me some exposure way out in Hong Kong. I can’t read much of the magazine but it is very young, good looking and fashiony.

Unit 7-8 the Merrion Market Leeds

Hoi hoi! I am in an exciting group show in Leeds. The idea is that 20 artists produce 20 multiples of their work and then exchange them, with the one left over for sale to the public. It will be nice and diverse, with 20 very different artists showing a single work each. It will be very good so please do go along.

Interview

November 14th, 2008

I have been interviewed by Claudio Parentela on his blog, Variations in Northern Degradations. I think you’ll agree I am a fascinating subject, with all of my worldly experiences and that.

The Joyful Bewilderment: Still going strong

November 13th, 2008

Das right. The Joyful Bewilderment is now on until 27th November. So there will be a massive chunk of extra time to go and see the many many beautiful and weird pictures. It is at Rough Trade East, 91 Brick Lane, London, so go. You can read an interview by Stranger magazine with two of the curators here.

Looking ahead

November 8th, 2008

Just a quick post because things are awful busy these days and I must work. Here’s a chunk of a part of a set of pictures I’m making for a nice magazine. I will post up the finished product after it is published. The magazine should be out in December so yeah. I don’t want to say too much just in case something awful happens and it doesn’t work out…

Old blog dead

November 1st, 2008

Hi

The old blog passed away at some point yesterday. I don’t know why. It just went all wrong. So here is the very first post of the new blog. A small sprout is sprouting from the dead fertile remains of the dead rabbit. I’m a little disappointed that all of my old posts are now gone, but it is a fresh start. I celebrate it with a drawing of one of my favourite heroes: Bruce Lee. This will most definitely be a page in a new book I’m gradually building.
