This is my first animation (maybe it’s a bit too short to call it that…) since college, way back in the day. I used to love the animation room. It was nice and dark and there were people there who were strange and fun. I think the people in the animation room were either recreating their acid trips, dreams or fantasy lives on film. Hello if any of them are reading.
P.S. This runs nicer (faster) in Firefox

I have made it at last. I am taking part in a French show. It is a group show in which all of the participating artists chose some of their favourite records and reworked the covers. Above is one of my efforts, “Kimono my house” by Sparks. I did a version of Neneh Cherry’s classic “Raw like sushi” and Nancy Sit’s cover of “I’m a believer”. Below are chunks of the promotional stuff for the show. Should be good! Thanks studioburo and Postics

Here is my illustration for the last ever issue of plan B magazine. The article was a review of the new Fire on fire album, “The Orchard”.

Here’s the second drawing I did for the Italian group show. As you can see one is cold and one is hot. You can decide for yourself whether the dolphin is dead, stunned, enjoying a hug or what.

Here’s a rough and ready scan of a picture I’m working on for a group show in Italy. I’m not sure as yet what this chap’ll be up to. He hasn’t even got a mouth yet. He may be dead. He may be a dad. Difficult decisions surely lie ahead.

Here’s the completed rumble in the jungle. I’ve got a show coming up in Spain this month, so keep your eyes open and wide for more details of that.

and me in paradise. Here’s page one of a set of four pages I did for the latest edition of Faesthetic magazine. It is Faesthetic #11, and the theme is “Ghost Story”. The mag consists of 128 pages by 40 artists in two colours. Have a look see at what it looks like see. My chunk of the mag is a little story involving a man and a jungle jaguar.

Here’s a bit of a drawing I’m working on at the moment. The picture is of two lions with full facial hair fighting with a woman in a forest, with bits of leaves and complete birds flying everywhere.

Hola hola I have been featured in Spain’s H Magazine! You can read the interview or (if you can’t speak Spanish) just look at the words and try to imagine what they might mean here. Scroll down the index on the left until it says “Patrick Gildersleeves” and then click on those words.
